ebay sniping software, I have just bid on an item and been outbid at the last second!? Which is tremendously irritating, please can anyone suggest a reliable sniping tool which is available currently, I had one a couple of years ago but it stopped working and the producer must have dissappeared with many thousands of fees paid whom I was unfortunately one of!!!!
Fake bids on eBay with some type of software? (user r***h, h***i, etc...)? I keep finding "ODD" bidder names such as this : http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=220236979109 . All have very similar profile names and then a "regular" name will win the bid. I keep seeing this happening. This can not be a mistake or coincident. This looks likes someone (many) have bought a software that makes fake bids until their product is at the price they are willing to sell at. Please tell me what is up!! Thanks

If the system requirements are as follows: Intel Pentium 233Mhz, Pentium III recommended, Memory 128 MB, 260 MB of available hard-disk space And my new computer will be: AMD Anthlon 64 x2 Dual Core 3800 CPU, 1G memory (I know the 128 is ok), and 160 GB Hard drive (I know the 260 MB is ok too) but will the processor not being a pentium be an issue? This is for Microsoft Office 2003 Standard Edition. Also...what are the different Office packages....like how is one better than the other? How does bid sniping on ebay work? I understand it bids during the last seconds. Does it just bid once given the bid that you tell it to? Or does it keep bidding the minimum bid until it reaches the your maximum bid that you tell it. I'm using myibay.com. In other words, if 2 people are using sniping software, one guy enters $30, the other guy $40 as a max bid. Will it sell for $40 or the minimum bid after $30? Thanks in advance.
Ebay Tracker Software? A few years ago i used this handy little program which tracked ebay auctions that I was selling, but without being signed into ebay. It made a noise when you got a bid or the auction ended and was a very small and unobtrusive program. Does anyone know what it was called or something similar like it?

How exactly does sniping on Ebay work? Say I decide to "snipe" something. I enter in my maximum bid and choose the 5 second cut off. Does that mean that my sniper software will automatically outbid the other person 5 seconds before the auction ends up to the amount of my maximum bid? Or will it automatically start bidding and then keep bidding (if I am out bid) until 5 seconds before the auction ends? Can someone explain exactly how this works? If an item I'm bidding on is currently 10 dollars but I put my bid in at 40 dollars, is the sniping software going to bid 40 dollars 10 seconds before the auction ends, or is it going to continue to bid UP TO 40 dollars before the auction ends?

How do I go about selling my old versions of Windows XP? I have a retail copy of Windows XP Home and an OEM of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 that I am no longer in need of and wish to put up for bid on eBay. These copies have been installed and activated, but are no longer in use since I bought the full version of Windows Vista on an empty hard drive, so I was wondering if there is a way for the license to get transferred to another computer so my winning bidders will be able to install and activate the software. why cant i access ebay? the page will not load at all, i have tried with firefox and IE and the same things happened. i downloaded new security software and it has been since then i can either not access ebay at all or i can but not all pages will load eg. canot view some items (but can others) could not place a bid on any items, and couldnt put some items in my 'watching' list. today the first page will not load at all. - firefox says 'the connection was reset' could this be to do with my security software? i have installed antivirus and also firewall and ad-aware? or is it just coincidence. if it is my security stuff what can i do about it?

Can somone sue me over a not paid item on ebay? I recently bid on an auction, and wanted to try out an ebay sniping program called JBidwatcher. I entered how much I wanted to bid, and selected the right auction, and then in the last 10 seconds it bid for me, and I won the item. Unfortunately, the program bid way more than I had entered! I explained to the seller that the software had glitched or something, and he threatened to sue me! I realize it is an inconvenience, but there is an option to offer the item to the second highest bidder for their maximum bid. I don't know why he isn't willing to do this. Would he have a chance in court over an issue like this?
